UFI in Abu Dhabi
UFI has opened an office in Abu Dhabi to serve its members in the Middle East and Africa. It will create networking opportunities and education programmes. As a first step, it will organise a major seminar targeted at professionals from the exhibitions industry in early 2007.
Another stadium for Melbourne
A 20,000-seat, A$190 million (US$140.7 million), stadium is being built in Melbourne’s Olympic Park precinct. To be completed by 2009, it will be another venue for companies to host game days, teambuilding events and award dinners.
