Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort has a new general manager in Ivan Casadevall, who was last part of the corporate management team of Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas, after four years of running Anantara Seminyak, Bali as general manager.

YTL Hotels’ Spa Village Resort Tembok, Bali has appointed Martin Büchele its new executive chef. Specialising in healthy cuisine, Büchele has worked with luxury properties such as Relais & Chateaux’s Hotel Jagdhof in Austria and The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur.

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has appointed Rajender Kumar Maitola Indian chef. He joins from Sujan Luxury Hotel, Delhi where he was junior sous chef.

James Kent has moved from the Kyoto Convention Bureau to Japan MICE-specialist DMC, The J Team, taking on the position of sales and marketing manager.

Dusit International has appointed Keita Sekine regional director of sales and marketing – Japan and Shuichi Ueda director of sales – Japan. Sekine brings with him 15 years of experience in sales and operations, while Ueda was assistant director of sales at Dusit Thani Manila.

Andrew Yee has been promoted to general manager of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard, Singapore. Yee was part of the property’s pre-opening team and has been with Pan Pacific Hotels Group for over a decade.

David Donald has taken up the role of general manager at Parkroyal on Beach Road following his last tenure in the same role at Parkroyal Parramatta.

Sumanth Das has been made culinary director at Pan Pacific Singapore, where he will be involved in the strategic planning and implementation of innovative culinary concepts. He was last executive chef at the Four Seasons Jakarta.

Conrad Koh Samui has appointed Stefano A Ruzza general manager. He joins from Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort in South Korea where he was general manager.

Mark Simmons is now vice president sales and marketing, Asia-Pacific at Outrigger Enterprises Group, based in Phuket. He brings with him 23 years of hospitality experience in Asia-Pacific and was last vice president sales and marketing for SilverNeedle Hospitality, based in Singapore.
