The Langham, Shenzhen has appointed Tan Guo-Sheng executive chef for its signature restaurant T’ang Court. Tan has worked with gourmet food for over 30 years, having served in numerous international luxury chain hotels and private clubhouses worldwide.
Saraswati Subadia has been appointed director of sales MICE with The Westin Resort Nusa Dua and Bali International Convention Centre in Bali. She has worked exclusively in the MICE sector for the past 12 years and was managing director MICE with Smailing Tour – Ovation Indonesia. The hotel has also promoted Jason Leung to the position of hotel manager and Sally Fadjrina to senior director of sales.

Imperial Hotel has appointed Tetsuya Kobayashi as chairman and Hideya Sadayasu as president. Kobayashi was last president of Imperial Hotel and general manager of the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, while Sadayasu has multi-operational experience in numerous departments across the Tokyo property.
Franz Zeller has returned to Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, this time as senior vice president, Asia. He was senior vice president, operations for Asia-Pacific and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel’s general manager from 1999 to 2001, and then senior vice president, Middle East and North Africa, Millennium Hotels & Resorts.
Jimmy Kwan is now director of business development with Hotel Grand Pacific. He was last general manager of Fort Canning Lodge, Singapore, a property owned and managed by the local chapter of the World Young Women’s Christian Association.
