After 21 years with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, during which he rose from F&B director to executive vice president, Sekercioglu has moved on to join Millennium & Copthorne International as president-Asia.

AccorHotels has chosen Simmons to replace Gerard Guillouet as the new COO in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Simmons has been with the company since 2007 and has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has made McNab managing director of Sheraton Macau Hotel, Cotai Central and St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central. Prior to this, McNab was the area general manager of Starwood Hotels & Resorts in South Thailand and general manager of The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa.

Christensen is now general manager of Marco Polo Changzhou, bringing with him more than 25 years of hospitality experience with major hotel brands like Accor, Shangri-La and Langham.

Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain has appointed Puri as its new general manager. Puri started his career with Six Senses in 2008, and has more than 23 years of hospitality experience under his belt.

Pateman is now managing director of Cordis Hong Kong. He was last general manager of Eaton, Hong Kong.

Formerly the general manager of Cordis, Hong Kong, Campbell is now managing director of The Langham, Hong Kong. He replaces Bob van den Oord who has moved on to London to take on the same role at The Langham, London.

Shng, who was hotel manager at The Langham, Hong Kong, has been promoted to the position of general manager for Eaton, Hong Kong.

Picken has been appointed hotel manager of the Golden Sands Resort, Penang by Shangri-La. With over 14 years of experience across the world, Picken was most recently resident manager at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore.

Karkaria has replaced Peter Meier as CEO of Kuoni Group.
