PCMA calls for APAC MICE industry to participate in survey

The survey takes a more in-depth look at the effects of Covid-19 in APAC

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is calling all business events stakeholders in Asia-Pacific to provide their responses for a survey that is part of its Covid-19 Recovery Dashboard Research initiative.

Karen Bolinger, managing director of PCMA APAC, calls for members of the business events community to contribute, to help create an accurate view of the current state of the industry for both event planners and suppliers, and understand what the future looks like for the region.

The survey will take an in-depth look at how Covid-19 has affected APAC

“While there have been various surveys go out in parts of the APAC region, none have provided a full view of Asia Pacific as a standalone region. We all need to get an accurate picture of what is occurring, so we can then collectively determine recovery strategies for planners and suppliers going forward.

“I encourage everyone to put 10 minutes aside to take part in this survey as we will all benefit from deeper insights,” said Bolinger.

The Covid-19 Recovery Dashboard survey will close on July 10, 2020, and can be accessed here.

Since March, PCMA has been conducting industry-wide surveys fortnightly among the global business events community to document and analyse the growing impacts of Covid-19 on the sector.
