Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) has appointed Michael Shah as its new partnerships & exhibition manager.
In this position, Shah leads exhibitor recruitment, retention, and trade floor operations for Meetings – New Zealand’s primary business events tradeshow – while overseeing strategic corporate partnerships for the organisation.
Shah brings over 20 years of hospitality and events leadership experience in New Zealand and Australia. He previously served as chief executive of Auckland’s Northern Club and spent five years as director of sales and marketing at Cordis Auckland.
Shah will work alongside head of events delivery Chris Peak on the Meetings tradeshow floor and collaborate with head of member engagement Nicky Tilsley on new commercial initiatives.
