
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) recognised 24 individuals and organisations at the Singapore Tourism Awards 2026, showcasing the major commercial entities and strategic initiatives driving Singapore’s business events and tourism sector.
Held at Shangri-La Singapore with minister-in-charge of trade relations, Grace Fu, as guest of honour, the biennial awards underscored enterprise innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable infrastructure critical to maintaining the city-state’s global corporate appeal.

SACEOS president Richard Ireland was named Best Business Event Champion for his structural contributions to the industry, notably spearheading the Singapore MICE Sustainability Roadmap and Certification, which earned Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) recognition. Ireland was also recognised for launching the Singapore MICE Development initiative to build long-term talent pipelines and resolve sector workforce challenges.
Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre won Outstanding Event Venue Experience for its execution of the mega-conference Token2049. The venue successfully integrated meeting spaces, logistics, and hospitality, securing its status as Singapore’s first fully carbon-offset venue with triple-platinum sustainability credentials. Marina Bay Sands also secured the Outstanding Business Innovation award for deploying swarm robotics technology across its property to automate routine tasks and optimise operational efficiency.
CloserStill Media took home the Outstanding Event Organiser award for Tech Week Singapore, utilising Asia’s first 3D interactive floorplan and partnering with groups like Women in Data Centers to drive diversity in B2B executive forums. Semicon Southeast Asia 2025 by SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) South-east Asia won Outstanding Business Event, praised for its highly functional, flexible floor layouts and for integrating supply-chain climate action programs directly into its commercial agenda.
Supporting infrastructure and incentive travel capabilities were also highlighted. Sentosa Development Corporation won the Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability award for scaling renewable energy and accessibility, while Mandai Wildlife Group was named Outstanding Employer for its progressive corporate human capital frameworks.
Crowne Plaza Changi Airport won Outstanding Hotel Experience for integrating AI and automation into business traveller logistics, and Woopa Group’s co-founders were named Outstanding Tourism Entrepreneurs for pioneering digitally gamified and AI-driven tour frameworks that advance corporate incentive travel.
