Mercure Gold Coast Resort has unveiled a comprehensive refurbishment of its conference and event facilities, integrating modern aesthetics with outdoor, wellness-driven experiences to meet shifting corporate demands.
The property’s flagship Masters Ballroom now features updated wall panelling, complemented by new contemporary carpeting extending across all meeting rooms and foyer spaces. Beyond physical infrastructure, the resort is expanding its business events calendar to incorporate nature-based micro-experiences, including lakeside lawn games, garden-to-plate dining, magnesium pools, ice baths, and on-site goat yoga across its 2,000m2 lawn.

Gillian Dawe, director of sales at Mercure Gold Coast Resort, said: “People want spaces that let them breathe and think clearly, and they want experiences they’ll actually remember once the conference badge comes off. It’s no longer enough to sit delegates in a room for eight hours.”
The updated venue hierarchy accommodates both small-scale executive board meetings and full-capacity conferences, complemented by the property’s exclusive Privilege Room offerings for corporate groups.
