Inside the wind tunnel

Russian indoor skydiving provider FlyStation has landed in Japan with a purpose-built centre in Saitama Prefecture, an hour from central Tokyo by car or train.

The centre features a wind tunnel of 4.5m in diameter and 19.8m in height, in which guests can experience the feeling of freefalling from 4,000m without any supporting device. Included in the package are the use of a helmet and jumpsuit along with pre-flight guidance from an instructor.

Perfect for corporate teambuilding and incentives, the FlyStation centre takes in a cosy VIP lounge as well as spaces for pre- or post-flight meetings for groups of up to 100 people. Themed events or private rental of the building are also possible.
