The 42nd ASEAN Summit Conference (KTT) in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, slated for May 9-11, 2023, will no longer be using Golo Mori convention facility as one of the meeting venues.
Shana Fatina, CEO of the Labuan Bajo Flores Tourism Implementation Agency and local KTT ASEAN committee member, relayed this information to Indonesian news agency detik.com during an interview on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
She confirmed that Golo Mori was no longer a venue for KTT, and instead, meetings will only be held at the Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo hotel, and Ayana Komodo Resort.
Previously, the brand-new Golo Mori convention facility was one of the confirmed venues for the 4nd ASEAN Summit Conference.
Other than stating that it was Indonesian president Joko Widodo’s decision on the usage of venues for the 42nd ASEAN Summit Conference, Shana did not provide any further details.
