Helen Mantellato, ICC Sydney’s senior manager of business development for International and Exhibitions, has been elected vice chair of the Asia Pacific Chapter for UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
Mantellato will serve a three-year term beginning after the UFI General Assembly ahead of the UFI Global Congress in November 2026.
In this regional leadership role, Mantellato will focus on addressing key industry challenges, developing regional initiatives, and driving membership growth and collaboration across the Asia-Pacific business events sector.
She brings over 35 years of industry experience to the position. At ICC Sydney, she manages portfolio development for international conventions and major trade and consumer exhibitions. She also currently serves as the NSW Chapter Chair of the Australian Business Events Association, is a former board member of the Exhibitions and Events Association of Australasia, and an alumnus of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
