Beyond Skywalk Nangshi in Thailand welcomes incentive groups

Incentive travel planners organising corporate retreats and events have a new high-altitude destination in southern Thailand: Beyond Skywalk Nangshi, located in the Samet Nangshe region overlooking Phang Nga Bay.

Developed by Kata Group and Beyond Resorts, the property functions as an eco-luxury retreat configured for smaller, experience-focused corporate groups. Its primary architectural focal point is a 180-metre glass skywalk suspended 80 metres above sea level, offering 360-degree panoramic views across the bay’s iconic limestone formations.

The retreat features 58 total accommodation units, including Forest Tents, Seaview Tents, Pavilions, Family Seaview options, and Two-Bedroom Pool Villas. The retreat’s culinary options support group gatherings of various sizes, such as the 114-seat Rub Tawan Restaurant, Horizon Restaurant for up to 80 guests, Kanda Coffee & Bakery, and an outdoor Pool Bar.

Event programming centres largely on outdoor options, such as private skywalk sunrise sessions, group breakfasts, and wellness-focused itineraries.

Unlike Thailand’s dense resort hubs, the immediate Samet Nangshe area relies primarily on boutique, small-scale stays. This lower regional density makes full-property buyouts and isolated retreats easier for planners to secure.

The destination’s overall capacity is slated to grow with the planned 2028 debut of the InterContinental Phang-Nga Bay Resort. That upcoming 150-key property will introduce dedicated meeting rooms for up to 200 guests, expanding the area’s infrastructure for regional corporate programmes.
