The Langkawi International Convention Centre (LICC) has entered a new era under the management of The St. Regis Langkawi.
Located within Langkawi’s waterfront resort district, the purpose-built event venue features a 1,660m2 pillarless Grand Ballroom capable of hosting up to 1,200 guests for banquet functions. The facility also houses seven flexible meeting rooms, dedicated VIP suites with protocol entrances, and spacious exhibition foyers.
Under the new management, event planners can integrate LICC’s modern infrastructure – such as high-speed connectivity, hybrid event technology, and simultaneous translation capabilities – with bespoke hospitality. Menus will be spearheaded by executive chef Unaver Unabia and The St. Regis Langkawi culinary team, offering custom Malaysian and international menus.
Beyond indoor conference facilities, the venue will leverage its natural surroundings to offer off-site incentive programmes, including mangrove explorations, sunset cruises, and cultural excursions. Events hosted at the centre are also eligible to earn Marriott Bonvoy Events points.
