Marriott to bring Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Hotels Brands to CNCC

Marriott International has signed an agreement with Beijing North Star Company to open the third The Ritz-Carlton and the first Marriott Marquis Hotel in Beijing.

Expected to open in 2026, both properties will be part of China National Convention Center Phase II, a 780,000m2 complex with hotels, retail spaces, offices, leisure facilities, and spacious venues for high-level conferences, exhibitions, and events.

Designed by the internationally acclaimed interior design firm Yabu Pushlberg, The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, North is expected to feature 282 guestrooms and suites. Amenities on-site are set to include six F&B venues, conference and event facilities totalling 968m2, and recreational facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and The Ritz-Carlton Spa.

Meanwhile, the Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel is anticipated to offer 671 guestrooms and suites, alongside an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant and a relaxed lobby bar and lobby lounge (The Greatroom).

Planned facilities also include a swimming pool and fitness centre, as well as 3,207m2 of conference and event spaces including a Grand Ballroom, two Junior Ballrooms, three meeting rooms, and an executive club lounge – M Club.

The hotels are approximately 20km away from Beijing Capital International Airport. Leisure and cultural attractions such as the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), and China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum are within walking distance.
