Etihad Airways has launched Corporate Care, a service enhancement within its Etihad for Business programme designed to minimise the operational and financial fallout of travel disruptions for corporate clients.
The initiative aims to provide businesses with dedicated operational support and smoother logistics during mid-journey schedule changes.

The package focuses primarily on irregular operations, offering eligible corporate travelers priority handling during flight delays, cancellations, and rebooking scenarios. Under the new protocol, Etihad will also prioritise client seat preferences and protect bookings in the event of operational aircraft swaps or cabin downgrades – frequent pain points for high-frequency business travelers.
To streamline service delivery, the carrier is introducing dedicated account management teams to serve as single points of contact for corporate travel organisers. Furthermore, Etihad is establishing direct integration channels with third-party Travel Management Companies (TMCs), allowing corporate travel desks and agencies to resolve ticketing and itinerary adjustments without navigating standard customer service channels.
“Corporate Care is designed to give our Etihad for Business members an enhanced level of support and reassurance, particularly when unexpected disruption affects their travel plans,” said Javier Alija, vice president of sales, digital & distribution at Etihad Airways. He emphasised that combining priority handling with closer TMC collaboration is key to helping corporate clients maintain schedule continuity.
The Corporate Care feature is available immediately to eligible Etihad for Business corporate members through their designated account representatives.
