BCD Travel adds AI-powered analytics to Tripsource platform

Tripsource’s data points will provide actionable analysis and recommendation for enhanced savings, traveller wellness, sustainability and compliance

BCD Travel has added an AI and natural language processing (NLP) analytics capability to its Tripsource platform, giving corporate travel and finance managers a single, real-time view of their travel programmes.

Called Tripsource Insights, the platform combines data from BCD systems and supplier sources into one interface. It replaces traditional reporting and manual analysis with dashboards, visualisations and natural language queries, allowing users to access programme data and monitor performance more efficiently.

According to a survey by BCD’s Research and Intelligence team, travel buyers ranked collaboration with TMCs and suppliers on data, and improving data quality, as their top priorities. Respondents also cited a lack of time as the main reason for limited engagement with programme data.

BCD said the platform uses direct source-level data from its own systems and APIs to provide insights for day-to-day programme management. It includes an AI Analyst built on the company’s travel dataset.

Tripsource Insights covers three areas. Programme insights provide visibility into travel programme performance, adoption, CO2 emissions and sustainability targets. A ticket tracker helps organisations manage and reuse non-refundable airline tickets.

Payment insights give finance teams a real-time view of travel spend across air, hotel, rail and car, alongside virtual payment tracking, digital invoicing and card reconciliation.

Risk insights include a traveller safety dashboard with active risk alerts, destination intelligence and duty-of-care information.

BCD will preview Tripsource Insights at the GBTA Convention in Chicago from August 3 to 5, 2026.
