Pullman Kuching is entering the final phase of its hotel-wide transformation, with completion targeted for mid-2027.
The hotel has completed the refurbishment of its lobby and ground-floor public spaces, restaurants, Grand Ballroom, meeting facilities, fitness centre and a significant portion of its guestrooms. Renovation works are now focused on the remaining guestrooms and suites, as well as the Executive Lounge.

Its general manager, Sunardi Song, said: “With the upgraded lobby, dining venues, event facilities and 161 refreshed guestrooms now operational, we have seen encouraging momentum across corporate, government, association, leisure and social segments.
“We are delivering the remaining work in phases to protect safety and service continuity, while allowing guests to continue enjoying the completed guestrooms, restaurants and event spaces with minimal disruption.”
Pullman Kuching has hosted international conferences, industry gatherings, corporate meetings, gala dinners and exhibitions this year, which is reflective of the continued confidence from healthcare, government, industry and professional association clients, said Song.
Next month in September, Pullman Kuching will be the venue for the National Pathology Conference 2026, which Song said reflects organisers’ continued confidence in the hotel’s ability to support multi-day national events.
In international markets, Pullman Kuching is seeing stronger demand from Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, China, Australia and several European markets.
Looking ahead, Song said AirBorneo is expected to further strengthen regional connectivity, supporting arrivals from shorthaul markets and making Kuching more accessible for both business events and leisure travellers.
To build on this growth, Pullman Kuching is forging strategic partnerships with conference organisers, DMCs and event planners, while leveraging Accor’s global distribution network and targeted digital campaigns.
Song added: “At the same time, we continue to strengthen our collaboration with Business Events Sarawak and the Sarawak Tourism Board, ensuring that our efforts remain aligned with the destination’s wider tourism and business events ambitions.”
