The 35th Annual TTG Travel Awards recognised 94 organisations from across the Asia-Pacific travel and tourism industry at its ceremony in Bangkok on September 24.
Organised by TTG Asia Media and TTG Travel Trade Publishing, the event introduced new categories and an expanded list of winners spanning BT-MICE, hotels, travel services, airlines, and travel agencies.
BT-MICE winners included Macao for Best BT-MICE City and Hong Kong for Best BT-MICE Destination. In the bureau categories, Tourism New Zealand Business Events took home Best Convention & Exhibition Bureau (National Level), while Business Events Perth won Best Convention & Exhibition Bureau (Local). Top venue honours went to facilities including Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre (Singapore), Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (Thailand), Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Malaysia), Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (Indonesia), and SMX Convention Center Manila (Philippines).
Distinction in meetings and convention hospitality was awarded to Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld (Thailand), Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore (Singapore), Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan (Indonesia), and Shangri-La The Fort, Manila (Philippines). Leading business hotels were also celebrated, including ParkRoyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore, The Westin Kuala Lumpur, The St. Regis Bangkok, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, and Conrad Manila. Corporate Travel Management Asia was recognised as Best Corporate Travel Agency.
In other segments, Singapore Airlines won Best Full-Service Carrier, Accor was named Best Global Hotel Chain, and Pan Pacific Hotels Group secured Best Regional Hotel Chain. Three Outstanding Achievement Awards were also conferred by TTG’s editorial team: Australia as Destination of the Year, the Philippine Retirement Authority for Best Travel Marketing Effort, and The Ascott Limited as Most Sustainable Travel Company.
The ceremony also celebrated 21 members in the TTG Travel Hall of Fame – reserved for organisations that have won their category for at least 10 consecutive years – including long-standing business events powerhouses such as Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau and The Royal Cliff Hotels Group.
The ceremony and gala dinner were held at Centara Grand at CentralWorld alongside Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) and Corporate Travel World (CTW) Asia-Pacific.
Voting for the next edition of the TTG Travel Awards will begin in 2027.
