QSNCC adds bonded warehouse facility for global exhibitions

The new bonded warehouse service is designed to simplify import procedures for exhibitors and event organisers at QSNCC

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has launched a bonded warehouse service for international exhibitions and events, becoming the first city-centre venue in Bangkok to offer the facility.

The new service is designed to simplify temporary imports for exhibitions and events by allowing goods to be stored and used within a customs-controlled facility without requiring import duty guarantees or ATA Carnet documentation. According to QSNCC, this will help reduce administrative procedures and improve operational efficiency for organisers and exhibitors.

To manage the facility, QSNCC has appointed APT Showfreight (Thailand), part of the APT Showfreight & Logistics Group, which specialises in exhibition and event logistics across Asia. The company will oversee customs clearance, import and export handling, and delivery of goods directly to exhibition areas.

Several upcoming exhibitions are expected to use the service, including Asia Sustainable Energy Week and Thai Water 2026, CPHI South-east Asia 2026, Food & Hospitality Thailand 2026, Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, and Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2027.

Surapol Utintu, CEO of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, said: “… Today, organisers are looking not only at venue quality but also at the strength of the supporting infrastructure that enables smooth and efficient event operations.”

“We believe this development will further strengthen Thailand’s ability to host international exhibitions and events while enhancing confidence among organisers and exhibitors worldwide who choose Thailand as their event destination.”
