AsiaWorld-Expo seeks naming partner for 20,000-seat Super Arena

AsiaWorld-Expo Phase 2 will be a new world-class landmark for major global events

AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) has launched an invitation for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the naming rights and strategic venue alliances for its planned Super Arena, set to become Hong Kong’s largest indoor multipurpose venue when construction wraps by the end of 2028.

The flagship 20,000-seat arena is the centrepiece of AWE’s Phase 2 expansion, which will expand the complex’s total exhibition space from 70,000m2 to 100,000m2. The development forms a critical component of Skytopia, the broader Airport City master plan being spearheaded by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK).

Designed to host major international concert tours, elite sporting events, and corporate conventions, the Super Arena will feature a 360-degree audiovisual setup, flexible bowl configurations, and 30 VIP suites equipped with dedicated hospitality services.

In a press release, AWE stated the layout was designed following industry consultations to adapt to the growing global trend of “festivalisation” – a format where events seamlessly integrate indoor conferences with outdoor lifestyle, dining, and live entertainment spaces.

Beyond securing naming rights, potential brand partners will gain access to integrated sponsorship packages, including digital branding across ticketing platforms, bespoke corporate hospitality, and activation spaces throughout the venue footprint.

“AWE Phase 2 represents far more than an expansion of the venue; it marks a new milestone for Hong Kong’s events industry,” said Irene Chan, CEO of AsiaWorld-Expo. “We invite leading global brands to forge long-term strategic partnerships with us and seize the significant opportunities arising from Hong Kong’s mega-event economy.”

Situated adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport, the venue aims to leverage the regional flow of the Greater Bay Area’s 87 million residents via direct links to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Airport Express, and upcoming autonomous transport networks.

Corporate entities interested in submitting proposals can access EOI details directly through AsiaWorld-Expo’s official website.
